Storyline

Tom Brand (Kevin Spacey) is a daredevil billionaire at the top of his game. His eponymous company FireBrand is nearing completion on its greatest achievement to date - the tallest skyscraper in the northern hemisphere. True Definition Of A Masterpiece

Whilst viewing 'Birdman', I spent the first hour of the film trying to decipher my emotions and opinions towards it, what I was watching was a weird, yet wonderful work of art. Truly though, 'Birdman' is a technical masterpiece. Michael Keaton has generally been undermined as an actor (despite a few notable roles as Batman or Beetlejuice) and has instead faced Hollywood picking more acclaimed and popular actors, 'Birdman' however might just be his ticket to an Oscar nomination, and possibly even a win, his performance is mesmerising. Alejandro González Iñárritu has created a truly spectacular character study that arguably features this year's strongest acting performances, alongside a well- executed script, booming soundtrack and a monumental achievement with cinematography from Emmanuel Lubezki in which he attempts a Hitchcockian approach, reminiscent of 'Rope', and displays the story through a seemingly single and unbroken sweeping shot. This is the true definition of a masterpiece.

Gorgeous, hilarious, and well-written film

If you haven't seen Tumbledown yet, you are in for a treat. Rebecca Hall plays the widow of Hunter Miles, a fictional singer with a cult following. She has stacked enough wood for years of a comfortable widowhood--living among her husband's instruments and keepsakes in the lakeside cabin in Maine that they shared. She's forced from being a hermit by the brash academic (played by Jason Sudeikis) who appears on his European motorcycle to dig up biographical details on Hunter for his PhD dissertation. But Hunter's widow turns out to be more fascinating than the memory of Sudeikis' musical hero. And the rest is chemistry. We get to watch Jason Sudeikis and Rebecca Hall on a date at the town dump, at a family Easter gone wrong, and standing on a sheet of frozen ice surrounded by the crazy whale sounds of a thawing lake in the Maine woods. The rapport between Rebecca Hall and Jason Sudeikis is riveting. Their banter is smart and funny. And Damien Jurado's haunting tunes give the movie a depth that reverberates for days to come. The film is gorgeous, moving and entertaining.

Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 Movie Review

Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 is exactly what you see in the trailers. While the trailer may have elicited a few snickers now and then, imagine watching 2 hours of it, because that's what KKHH 3 is and nothing more. It pains me to write the word ‘plot’ in this review because KKHH 3 doesn’t have one. One wonders why they even bothered having the excuse for a plot anyway, because the movie boils doing to a few dialogues interspersed with pelvic thrusts now and then.

Kanhaiyya is good for nothing who’s kicked out his house by Shakti Kapoor (because that's what he does). Homeless and distraught, he goes to his chuddy-buddy, Rocky’s house. Through a self pleasure related bungle, they succeed in giving Rocky’s grandmother a heart attack and both of them go to live with their friend Mickey. Mickey is a pornogropher and he asks the duo to partake in his films, which they do with gusto. It so happens that Kanhaiyya falls in love with a homely, sanskari young woman Shaalu, who has no idea about what he really does for a living. Shaalu wants to get her father to meet his family, but having been excommunicated from his, Kanhaiyya is now in a pickle.

Let’s get one thing out of the way, KKHH 3 is awful. It has a few laughs here and there, but the very “best” of them can be seen in the trailer itself. It boggles the mind to comprehend that this movie made it to theatres. There is no reason whatsoever to go and watch this “Porn-com”
